Sponsorship of The Whitby Sports Hall of Fame Annual Induction Gala
The Whitby Sports Hall of Fame hosts an Annual Induction Gala to celebrate the careers and achievements of newly inducted members; these most recent inductees may include athletes, teams, individuals who have contributed to the advancement of sports in Whitby (referred to as builders), and/or media personalities.
The program for our Annual Gala typically consists of a seated meal service, an address by a keynote speaker, video tributes for the new inductees, formal induction ceremonies, and acceptance speeches. Our Hall of Fame committee endeavours to offer an evening of enjoyment and lasting memories at a reasonable cost for the guests in attendance.
As a not-for-profit corporation, the Whitby Sports Hall of Fame welcomes subsidies that may be provided by local businesses to offset the costs of staging this illustrious event on an annual basis. This subsidy is in the form of a $1000.00 sponsorship, and the financial support assists us in achieving our mandate to preserve, promote, and celebrate the rich history of sports in Whitby.
