Lindsay started skating at the age of 7 and joined the Pre-Novice Ice Pix Precision Skating Team two years later. She graduated to the Novice Ice Angels, then moved to the Crystals where she was a member of 3 Canadian Junior Championship teams. This team moved on to become the Ice Fyre, with whom Lindsay skated for two years until her retirement in 1989.
