Greg McConnell played lacrosse, hockey, and baseball in Whitby for many years and was a member of the B&R Transporters Lacrosse Team from 1969-1971.

He also served as an Executive Member of the Whitby Warriors Lacrosse Team and the Brooklin Redmen Major Lacrosse Team for several years.
