George Samolenko

Originally from Edenwald, saskatchewan, George played for the Oshawa Generals and the Oshawa Truckmen during the 1950’s, winning the OHA Senior ‘B’ Championship with the Truckmen in 1953-54. Prior to joining the Dunlops, George also played in Scotland for the Paisley Pirates. He was the leading scorer for the Dunlops 1957 Allan Cup team.
