Alf Treen

Alf Treen is a native of Kirkland Lake and played his Junior A hockey with the Waterloo Hurricanes. In 1952 he turned pro with Detroit and played in their farm system for the Milwaukee Cheifs of the International League.

He also played for the Sault Michigan Indians, the Sherbrooke Saints, and Glace Bay. In 1954, Alf was re-instated as an amateur to play for the Whitby Dunlops and when the Dunlops ceased operation after their second Allan Cup win, Treen signed with the Kingston Frontenacs of the Eastern Pro League where he ultimately finished his career in hockey.
